Holidays and off hours across your global team.
Open the appI work with colleagues across Asia-Pacific, and I built TeamOffDays because of a problem I kept seeing. A regional head would schedule an all-hands call without checking the public holidays in each country. Only afterwards would it turn out that people in one or more countries were off that day, and the meeting had to be rescheduled. It happened often enough to waste real time, both for the organizer and for everyone who had already cleared their calendar.
Another time, I arranged an online video call with someone abroad and agreed on the time in advance. When the time came, the other person never joined. When I checked, I found that daylight saving time (summer time) had started on their side, so the hour we had both written down was no longer the same moment for the two of us. The clock times in our messages looked identical, but one of us was an hour off. That was when I decided to build a tool that shows each place's real local time directly, so nobody has to rely on mental arithmetic or assumptions.
The second reason is the growing number of digital nomads and remote teams who collaborate with people in many countries. In that kind of work, the hardest part is often not the task itself but finding out quickly when each person is actually working: their working hours, lunch break, weekend, and whether they are on vacation. A time zone converter gives you the clock time, but it does not tell you whether someone is at lunch, asleep, or off for a national holiday.
TeamOffDays puts those answers on one screen: the local time, working status, public holidays and weekends of every country you add, and the same for the people you work with. The goal is simple: check first, then schedule once.
TeamOffDays is a free tool for people who work with colleagues, clients or family in different countries. Add the countries or cities you work with and see, in one place, each location's current local time, whether it is a working hour, lunch hour, weekend or public holiday, and which public holidays are coming up next. Switch between a list, a monthly calendar and a world map. The goal is simple: avoid sending messages or scheduling meetings when the other side is off, at lunch, or on a national holiday.
Working hours are assumed to be 09:00-18:00 on weekdays with lunch 12:00-13:00 in local time. Actual hours differ by company and country, so treat the status as a guide, not a guarantee. Public holiday data comes from the Nager.Date public API and may be incomplete or change; always confirm important dates with an official source.
